Urban studio - third year

Our urban studio in Jerusalem embarked on a transformative journey, inspired by a film and works of Yigal Tomarkin, to empower marginalized women in the city's societies. Exploring an intriguing point on the city map that encompasses three existences, we sought to reconcile the shared denominator of women by reclaiming their presence within the urban fabric. Through thoughtful planning and innovative design, we created elevated streets, central axes, and inclusive spaces that foster empowerment, complexity, and understanding while respecting the existing cultural views.
